You see that guy right there in the picture with the plate of food?  Well, this picture was taken on his 16th birthday.  On that very day I could not believe that I had been a mother for 16 years.  I was so excited to prepare a meal for him and some of his friends to celebrate the "big day".  Two years have passed since this picture was made.  Two years that have gone by way too fast for me.
